Key to Success - Part 1
In my work I meet lots of people who read many self-help books, listen to great CDs, go to motivational seminars, know a lot, and yet somehow nothing, or very little seems to go the right way in their lives. Why is that? Why having all this knowledge is not making them successful? When I talk about success I talk about success in all areas of your life, professional, money, relationships, friendships, spiritual life (not necessarily religious life) as we are one person and we can not separate those areas. One area affects all other areas.

So, why all the knowledge they accumulated through those great books is not getting them where they want to be?

They are where I was some time ago. They have the pieces of the success puzzle scattered all over their table and they desperately try to put the puzzle together and the pieces do not fit. Sometimes, they might wonder if all those pieces come from the same puzzle as nothing seems to fit at all. I used to ask myself the same question. I owned over 70 self-help books, over 250 hours of motivational tapes and I went to every seminar I could. Why wasn’t that enough?

Knowledge without the understanding of that knowledge is not enough. You might say that you understand it, but if you have all the knowledge and still things in your life do not go your way, that’s means you do not understand the knowledge enough to apply it. I thought I understood it, but soon I realized that I did only in some degree, not enough to achieve success.
