Thoughts and Actions
July 26, 2008 on 2:59 am | In Our Thinking | 2 CommentsThoughts and Actions.
Have you ever heard about the definition of insanity? Most of the sales people have.
The definition of insanity, is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results. How it is really explained to us, and how it was explained to me; that if we take the same actions and we expect different results, that is the definition of insanity. We know that there is truth to it but it really goes much, much deeper than that. If you change actions, for example you make more sales appointments you will get more sales and better results this way. Yes, you will change your results, but only a little. You will never achieve your dream by doing that. The real meaning of the definition of insanity is thinking the same way and expecting different results. It is never going to happen!!! Our actions are results of what we think and they produce results. So if we are thinking the same way, we will act the same way and we will have the same results we always had. Only when we change our thinking, we will change our results. When you think in a different way, you will act in a different way and you will achieve your dream. Where you are at this moment is the result of what you have been thinking till now. And that is great news, because they are your thoughts and you can change them any time!
Always remember, you have absolute power to transform your life. What you need to do is to transform your thinking.

You Set Your Goal. Now What?
July 20, 2008 on 10:06 pm | In Goals | 2 CommentsOn a very special day, you set down and you wrote your goals. You wrote on a piece of paper or on your computer what it is that you really want. You wrote about you dreams. You probably looked at them and wondered, and now what? What am I going to do to achieve them?
You don’t have to know how to achieve it. You have to believe that you are going to achieve this goal. Believing in achieving your goal is not enough. The right thinking and the best positive thinking you can imagine is not enough to achieve your goal. You have to act on the idea. You have to make a plan of action.
How do you start?
You start by taking another piece of paper or just sit at your computer and start writing. You need to write what is the best you can do, with what you have, from where you are. Write everything that comes to your mind. Keep writing until you run out of ideas. Then stop. Look at what you wrote and answer a question for yourself. “Is this the best I can do?” Then write some more ideas. Then ask the same question again. When nothing comes to your mind, start acting on your ideas. Never stop! Ad new ideas and keep the ball rolling until it hits the goal.

How To Convince Someone That You Are Special?
July 13, 2008 on 11:50 pm | In Our Thinking | 1 CommentAfter one of my seminars I was asked a great question;
“How can I convince the judges that I am the winner of the competition?”
This is what I answered:
You can not convince the judges that you are the winner. The only person you need to convince is yourself. If you feel and believe in the depth of your heart that you are the winner, then you are. You don’t have to convince anyone. When you believe that you are the winner, you think like a winner, you act as a winner, you talk as a winner. Your entire demeanor says loud and clearly; I am a winner and it shows to everyone that is around you, including judges.
That applies to all areas of your life. Before you want to convince someone that you are the best for that job, the best choice for a partner, the best business person in your category, the best parent, the best student, friend…etc.; first you have to convince yourself that you are that person. When you are that person, you don’t need to convince anyone. They will know it.
You are a very special person. All you need to do is to see that for yourself….deep in your heart…than everyone will notice it as well.

Who Is In The Driver’s Seat of Your Life?
July 6, 2008 on 1:30 am | In Our Thinking | No CommentsThere are many differences between successful people and unsuccessful people. One thing I wanted to concentrate on today is that successful people are in the driver’s seat of their life. They are the ones that make the decisions where to go and how to go about it. They are the ones who are in charge of their fate. They make their fate.
On the other hand the unsuccessful people are in the passenger’s seat. They are ones who feel that everyone is pulling their strings. They feel like they are the little people in the big world and they have no control over anything, or hardly anything. They often feel helpless, underpaid and not appreciated. If it happens that you are that person, think about this. Who is your driver and where are you going? What will happen when your driver decides to drive off the cliff? If this was the case, remember you are in the passenger’s seat and you are going with him or her!
You are such a powerful being. You have such incredible potential. You and only YOU should be in the driver’s seat of your life. All you need to do, is to take that seat, and claim it as YOURS for the rest of your life!

Do you know that 20% of people earn 80% of all the money?
This means that the 80% of people have to split the remaining 20% of the money.

P.S.
I don’t think we should have to split that 20%. I don’t like that idea at all. Let’s sink our teeth in the 80%. Let’s go for the big piece of the pie!
And who was the one that said that size does not matter?
