April 27, 2008 on 5:24 am | In Knowledge | 1 Comment“Knowledge is power”. I am sure you have heard it many times in your life. There are three kind of knowledge I want to talk about:
1. Knowledge we get in school, high school, college, university etc.
2. Knowledge we gain every day to get better at what we do.
3. Knowledge of life.
They are all important, but some are more crucial to our success than the others.
Let’s analyze them one by one.
The knowledge we get at school gives us the information about the world we live in. It is important knowledge, but this is not the knowledge that gives us power to succeed in life. If you think that because you finished school and received degrees it will make you lots of money and give you happiness in life than you are very mistaken. But don’t get me wrong. The knowledge we get at school is important and it is a good start. I have a Master’s Degree in Psychology, yet it did not help me to make money and be prepared for life. It was useful only to a certain degree and it was a great start toward my career. But that is all, just a start.
The other kind of knowledge will get you much further. It is the knowledge we gain to become good at what we do. There are many people doing different things for their career, but there are only a few professionals. The professionals are the people who spend time every day to learn more about what they do. They are the ones that keep getting the knowledge and get better and better at their chosen profession. If you look carefully, they don’t spend lots of time getting it. Just 10-15 minutes a day on a continuous basis, over the period of time it all adds up to a huge amount of knowledge they gather. That is what distinguishes the real professionals from the rest.

What Do You See?

I wonder what you see in the picture of this new blog. Do you see space, galaxy, cosmic dust that created the absolutely magical cosmic clouds…or maybe you see something different. What is it that you see?
What is that you see in your future?
Do you see more of the same? Do you see that no matter what you do you are controlled by the circumstances…people pulling your strings… you feel out of control…or…
Do you see yourself in the driver’s seat, happy, healthy, wealthy, with lots of wonderful friends, great vacations, hot cars, beautiful home, life filled with love….
Which life do you see? The life you have or the magical life that you can create…. What is that you see in your future?
We are conditioned to look at our past and our present situation and make a logical conclusion what the future is going to bring. We set our goals just a little bit higher if we set them at all. 87% of people have no defined goals. 10% have defined goals, but only 3% have them actually written down. Isn’t it interesting that the 3% are the richest people in the world? In which group you want to be?
Forget your past, forget your present. It is not important what you did, and it is not important where you are now. You can change all of that! The thing you need to do is stop thinking why you can not do something and CONCENTRATE ON WHY YOU CAN. When you do that, when you make a list why you can do things, you will see how many great ideas you are going to come up with. You will be surprised how creative you are and you will have a tiny glimpse of your true potential.

April 12, 2008 on 10:31 pm | In Our Thinking | 1 CommentI have just received a great comment from a person who finds my posts very interesting and something that “can not be find anywhere else.” Thank you for your comment. Very much appreciated. The same person also wrote that he is not sure that everything I write is real. I will assure you it is. I live it every day and my clients live it too. This post is dedicated to that wonderful person who wrote me that comment and all the magnificent people that visit my site and read my blogs.
In 19th Century or at the turn of the 20th century if you would say that we can build huge machines, that will take us to the other part of the globe and to the moon, would those people believe you? Would they agree with you if you said that we have the potential to build such machines? If you told the same people that in 21st century people will talk to little boxes and someone will hear them on another side of the globe? Will they believe if you said that people will take pictures with cameras without a film in them and then plug those cameras into a box called a computer and…. Now you have the 19th Century people stopping you and shaking their heads in disbelief. You probably will hear laughter. You just made their heads spin. They tried to comprehend something they can not. It is too magical for them. You stepped on their beliefs. They know it is impossible! They just know it. How do they know that it is Impossible? Because, they never opened their minds to the possibilities of it. But some people, the mavericks, they looked at the impossible and made it a reality.
The same applies to our unlimited potential. Unlimited? It does not agree with what we know. We know it is impossible. How do we know it is impossible? Because we don’t open our minds to the possibility that it is. It is not our fault. We were conditioned that way.
We are in a new age now. An age of quantum physics. Quantum physics proves over and over that we have unlimited potential. The only thing that keeps us from using that potential is ignorance. We simply do not know that we have it. Before we can use something we have to know first that we have it. My clients and I use that potential every single day and we create our lives the way we want. You can do it too.
I am so glad that a huge number of people have come to my blog and read my posts. That number tripled in the last 4 months and this month will be by itself better than the last four months together. I am so glad that people leave more comments. I welcome all the comments. If you want anything for me to write about, please just ask. I will keep writing my posts as I want to touch as many people as possible. I want you all to realize the incredible potential you have. You are very special, you are a genius beyond description, you are all brilliant people. All you need is to know and understand is how to use that magnificent power you possess.

Your Potential

Yes, you do.
Do you know what the difference between you and them?
The only difference between you and them is that they knew that they had potential. You don’t know it, YET.
Do you know that Thomas Edison had only 3 months of schooling? And yet he created the most wonderful things that make our life easier. If it was not for Thomas Edison, you would not be able to read this. Henry Ford surrounded himself with highly educated people that knew everything he needed to create his automobile. And Albert Einstein created physical theories, so incredible that we still try to wrap our minds around them. They had great imagination and they believed that if they can imagine it they can create it. And they did. You have imagination too. It is a perfect imagination. You were born with a perfect imagination. Take a little child and give that child a box or something else that is simple and this child will play for a long time, using his or her imagination. Then we go to school and we hear, “Amanda, stop day dreaming! Pay attention!” Then we go to work and we can be told, like I was “You are here to work not to think.” This is how our boundaries are put on our imagination. You, see for you to achieve anything you have to use your imagination. You can achieve anything you want in life. You are only limited by your imagination.
So, go and sit in your favorite place, relax, and start dreaming. Ask yourself: “What is that I really want in life?’ Then go for it, like Albert Einstein, Henry Ford and Thomas Edison did.
