Ripple Effect
March 29, 2008 on 11:48 pm | In Attitude | 2 CommentsDo you know what happens when you change and become a happy person. And I mean not happy on the outside, just making others believe that you are happy, but really happy inside. It becomes contagious! When you radiate your happiness around, it changes everything and everybody. It has a ripple effect. You affect everything and everyone around you. Here it is an example.
I have the pleasure to know a very special man, named Bill. He is a truck driver. When he met me for the first time, he was frustrated about the situation he had at work. As he described it, everyone was very negative, there was a lot of animosity between the workers. Basically everyone was for himself. As he started to change and become a new person things started to change in his life. As he grew happier, the better his workplace became. His new outlook on himself and the world changed the entire group of people he works with. From everyone being for himself they became a team, helping each other whenever needed. In the month of March, which is always the worst month of the year, because of the spring break, last year that group had 17 accidents, some of them serious. This March there were only 2 accidents, and they were minor ones. The management is thrilled, people are happier and safer, the depot is a great place to work. It is amazing and wonderful how one person with the right outlook on life can change so many other lives. Good for you, Bill! You are a very special, “Totally Unique Individual”.
Become one of those “Totally Unique Individuals” and create your own ripple effect.

What is the Best Way to Help Others?
March 22, 2008 on 5:06 am | In Purpose in Life | 4 CommentsMany people ask themselves what is the best way I can help others?
The best way to help others is to help yourself first.
When you change and become the best person you can be, when you are happy you will speak in a different way, act in a different way. That creates a ripple effect. Your new YOU will influence everyone around you. You don’t even have to wait until you are the person you want to be. Things will be changing as soon you will start growing.
As you are becoming a better, happier, calmer person, you will think differently, act differently and treat everyone else in a different way. Your new way will change other people thinking, their actions and they will affect other people in a positive way, even the ones you don’t know.
In order to achieve that, you have to put yourself first. You might say, that is being selfish or being conceited. This is not what I am talking about. Think for a moment. What do you have to offer to people when you are unhappy, miserable, angry, feeling guilt or resentment, hating yourself, feeling lost? When you have directions, do what you love, and love yourself, you are growing into a happy, calm, serene person. Your stamina, your new outlook on life you are developing as you change, will enhance the way you will see your surroundings and people. Being happy, you will help people become happier. Being serene, you will help people become calm. You will be an example. People will admire you and many will follow your path. You will become more caring and giving than you could ever imagine. You will have to offer something that is priceless to every single person, peace, serenity and happiness. You will become your child’s hero, your family’s haven, your friends’ idol.
So, start with yourself. Make yourself happy first. Ask yourself the most important question:
What is that I really want and what will make me happy?
Finding the answer is a good start. Then act on it.

The Potential of Our Mind
March 16, 2008 on 8:56 pm | In Our Thinking | 3 Comments“We bemoan the loss of our forests, we worry over our dwindling resources of coal and oil. We decry the waste in our factories. But the greatest waste of all, we pay no attention to – the waste of our own potential mind power.”
Robert Collier – Author “The Secret of Ages” 1948
How true is that thought written by Robert Collier! We are born with that incredible potential. We can do anything in life and yet through our conditioning we are taught that we can not do things. We are limited by the thoughts that are deeply embedded in us by our families, friends and people we meet in life. We can not blame our parents for the conditioning we received. They received the same conditioning from their parents and they wanted the best for us, but you can not give what you don’t have. So, our parents could not give us the great knowledge about our potential as they did not have it themselves.
Here, you may ask, what potential do I have?
My answer to you will be that you have such an incredible potential that you can not even comprehend it with your mind. You are brilliant, you have an incredible talent. You can be, do or have anything you seriously want. All you need is to realize that you are that incredible, special person. You see, they have not taught us at school that we have that potential. They have not taught us at school how to make goals and how to achieve them, how to make money. They have not taught us at school how to make decisions, how to think. They gave us at school a great knowledge of things, but none or very little knowledge of life. Many people are lost, searching for directions in life, not being able to make right decisions, and sometimes even to make any decision. They often feel like someone is pulling their strings. Like everything in their lives is out of their control.
I have news for you. No one is pulling your strings. You are pulling your own strings. It might seem to you that other people are controlling your life, but only because you let them do it. You have that unlimited potential and you are using it all the time. You are either using it to sabotage yourself or you are using it to advance in your life. Use it to make your life better. Don’t waste it. Life is too precious to be unhappy, especially when you have everything you need to live a life of your dreams.

Is Wanting “Badly Enough” Enough?
March 9, 2008 on 6:57 am | In Uncategorized | 1 CommentSometimes people say “I wanted it so bad but nothing happened. I really wanted it!”
Here, it comes to mind that it has to be some missing ingredients to achieving what we want in life, besides wanting ‘badly enough” and there is:
First, what are your thoughts behind wanting something really bad?
“There is a difference between wishing for a thing and being ready to receive it. No one is ready for a thing until he believes he can acquire it. The state of mind must be belief, not mere hope or wish.” Napoleon Hill.
This is so true! If we think that we want something, but we are not seeing it as it being ours already, it is not going to happen.
Second, we have to engage the laws of the Universe and know how to use the unlimited power we posses. The combination of all the factors is needed for the success.
Here, you might say that some of the very successful people achieved great success having no idea about the laws of the Universe or how to engage the power of our mind. They might not know about it, but unknowingly they engaged those powers, that is why they won.

I see it like this:
You have three choices here:
1. Change your thinking and think bigger.
2. Change your thinking and think really big.
3. Change your thinking and know that you can achieve absolutely anything!

Ideas
March 2, 2008 on 6:40 am | In Goals | 3 CommentsVery often we come with great ideas. But great ideas alone are worthless if we don’t do anything about them. Let’s see this example.
A person says, “I have a great idea!” The group of people he talks to gets very excited. Here is an idea and it is not just a good idea, it is a great idea! What is the idea they ask him. “Man goes to the moon.” It is a great idea everyone says. But how do we go about it? The person answers, “I don’t know, I just came up with the idea. You do it.” And do you know what happens? Nothing.
When you have an idea and you think that it is a great idea, act on it. The idea is only good when you have an action attached to it. Without an action your great idea is absolutely worthless. So, when you have an idea, go for it. Make it happen! Even if you don’t know how you are going to achieve it and complete it, start it and the way will be shown to you.
My husband and I have a great idea, I would appreciate it if you give your comment on it. We are thinking about doing my life coaching seminars in a picturesque, beach front, tropical resort. Five full days of priceless life coaching, magnificent surroundings, plenty of relaxation on the beach, great food and fun just for you or you and your significant other . Learn to be successful in life and have fun at the same time.
Take a moment, think about it and email amanda@totallyuniqueideas.com with comments about that idea.
