Take the Word “Debt” Out of Your Mind

February 17, 2008 on 6:42 pm | In Our Thinking |

I just read a great blog on debt relief www.mydebtreliefblog.com that gave me an idea for this blog.
Many people today are in a financial situation that is not very encouraging to them.  If you are one of those people read on. If not, forward this website to your friend who is.
You have two choices:
1.       You can sit and be depressed, looking at your gloomy future, because this is how you see it. Worry every single minute of you life and go nowhere fast. Actually, you won’t go “anywhere”. You will keep disintegrating. You see, you can never stay still. Nothing stays still. You either grow or you disintegrate. The last proposition does not sound too attractive, so I suggest you keep reading and really take to your heart the second choice.
2.       First, relax and stop worrying. You think here, how can I relax and stop worrying with the pile of bills? If you don’t relax, you will never change your situation. So, relax first. Forget your past. It is history. Your bills are history. Your situation is history. If you let your bank account or the pile of bills control your thinking, you will never change your life. You need to understand that your present situation is the result of your thinking you had till now. So, what you need to do is to change your thinking. Instead of thinking, why I can not do that, concentrate only on why I can. Make a list of things you can do right now that will improve your situation. It might be that nothing comes to your mind first, but take a piece of paper and start. You will be surprised how many things will come to your mind, you have never thought about before, or you could not even consider as possible. And then, ACT ON THEM! And remember, NEVER LOOK BACK.

  1. You have hit the nail on the head once again! Debt can be a terrible crushing pressure for many people. I myself have experienced the stress and sleepless nights that often accompany debt.
I have piled my bills and allowed myself to set aside the weight. I know that I will have the funds to pay each of these off. I may not understand right now what my method will be, but I come up with new ideas every day to make myself a “money magnet”.
If you can do this very simple thing, you can overcome the fear and depression. Start with your thoughts, then write out your solutions. My company offers a some solutions when you are ready for your “action” phase. www.simplysolved.net
