Power of a Mind Set
February 9, 2008 on 7:12 am | In Goals |What is the difference between people who are just making a living, just enough to their pay bills, pay off their debt, have a little spare money for entertainment and people who excel and make their dreams come true?
It is the mind set. The first group of people set their goals just to go through life. They often say, “If I only pay off the mortgage… If I only put the children through school…. If I only pay off the credit cards… If I only have enough money to take a vacation… If I only make it to retirement… If I only… then I will be happy. And before they notice their lives are over and they got through it…safely… They got through their live safely to death. They just achieved what they wanted, because that is exactly what they set their mind to do.
The other group of people are dreamers. They are the risk takes. They set goals high and their mind set is to achieve their dreams. They don’t worry if they are going to pay off the house. They don’t worry if they are going to have enough money to put their children through school or take a vacation. They know in the depth of their hearts that when they achieve their dream all the other things are going to fall into place. They live their passion, they are ALIVE! Every day of their lives is a wonderful adventure. They look at any setback as a lesson, not a failure. They have a vision and they keep going, and through their persistence they arrive at the destination of their dreams.
The first group of people often will say, “But you have to be realistic and practical.” The people from the second group are never realistic or practical. They are dreamers who pursue their dreams. They know that you achieve what you set your mind to do, so they aim high, they have courage to follow through and they live their dreams.

Wow! What a powerful statement! You better make sure what you think. Don’t waste your precious mind on bad things. Think about love, money, happiness and joy. Remember only good things…like; money, love…..and more money…abundance of it…and more love…and don’t forget the money…

Wow Amanda, we are definitely on the same page. I just wrote a similar blog at http://blog.simplysolved.net.
Coincidence? I think not! Great minds really do think alike.
I do agree whole heartedly with your statement here. It is very “easy” to allow your life to slip by as you accomplish safe goals. I have fallen victim to this in the past. I decided though that I had more potential than that. I don’t have to live on the safe side and just squeak by. I can let my dreams shine and grab my goals. Everyone has this capacity - and that is why this is so exciting.

Every time I visit this website I loose my assurance that everything written here is real. But even if it’s not true, I keep on visiting it because it’s interesting. There are many posts which you can’t find anywhere else.

many things to discuss… But anyway I’m not going to discuss such a personal topic. Reading it is ok, but discussing it makes you look like a chatter –box and a rumor-spreader.

Words of wisdom why dream at all if you don’t dream big why settle for less when you know that you all ways, can make more of yourself. You could not have not put it better life is to short to dream small, and they say death takes you to a better place however why would it???
