What is Stress?
February 23, 2008 on 9:02 pm | In Our Thinking | 2 CommentsStress is a result of ignorance. People get stressed because they do not realize that they have the power to control their lives. We are conditioned to believe that we are the little people in a huge world and everything that happens to us is out of our control. How many times have we heard people saying, “Everyone is pulling my strings.”
The truth is just the opposite. We can be in a total control of our lives. We are the ones that pull our own strings. We are the ones that have the power to change anything we want in our lives. The only catch here is that we need to have the knowledge that we can change our lives, and then we have to believe that we can, and finally expect that what we want it is going to happen.
When we understand the potential we have and I mean really understand it, we will never get stressed.
I just read a great blog on www.simplysolvedblog.net visit it. You will enjoy it too.

“We either move forward and grow or step back to safety.”

P.S.
You have only two choices in life:
1. You take on a challenge and you grow and become better, and have a better life.
2. When faced with a challenge you move back to your comfort zone. You might feel good in your comfort zone. You might not feel happy, but feel safe. You might not like your job, but you stay where you are, because you know it, it is your comfort zone. A new job you don’t know might be scary. You might have too much responsibility.
Anything new is somewhat frightening or uncomfortable. But remember with the new, besides the fear of the unknown, comes excitement and a better life. So, put on your adventurer’s hat and go for the new, the exciting, the better, and discover the life that you thought never existed.

Take the Word “Debt” Out of Your Mind
February 17, 2008 on 6:42 pm | In Our Thinking | 2 CommentsI just read a great blog on debt relief www.mydebtreliefblog.com that gave me an idea for this blog.
Many people today are in a financial situation that is not very encouraging to them. If you are one of those people read on. If not, forward this website to your friend who is.
You have two choices:
1. You can sit and be depressed, looking at your gloomy future, because this is how you see it. Worry every single minute of you life and go nowhere fast. Actually, you won’t go “anywhere”. You will keep disintegrating. You see, you can never stay still. Nothing stays still. You either grow or you disintegrate. The last proposition does not sound too attractive, so I suggest you keep reading and really take to your heart the second choice.
2. First, relax and stop worrying. You think here, how can I relax and stop worrying with the pile of bills? If you don’t relax, you will never change your situation. So, relax first. Forget your past. It is history. Your bills are history. Your situation is history. If you let your bank account or the pile of bills control your thinking, you will never change your life. You need to understand that your present situation is the result of your thinking you had till now. So, what you need to do is to change your thinking. Instead of thinking, why I can not do that, concentrate only on why I can. Make a list of things you can do right now that will improve your situation. It might be that nothing comes to your mind first, but take a piece of paper and start. You will be surprised how many things will come to your mind, you have never thought about before, or you could not even consider as possible. And then, ACT ON THEM! And remember, NEVER LOOK BACK.

Power of a Mind Set
February 9, 2008 on 7:12 am | In Goals | 17 CommentsWhat is the difference between people who are just making a living, just enough to their pay bills, pay off their debt, have a little spare money for entertainment and people who excel and make their dreams come true?
It is the mind set. The first group of people set their goals just to go through life. They often say, “If I only pay off the mortgage… If I only put the children through school…. If I only pay off the credit cards… If I only have enough money to take a vacation… If I only make it to retirement… If I only… then I will be happy. And before they notice their lives are over and they got through it…safely… They got through their live safely to death. They just achieved what they wanted, because that is exactly what they set their mind to do.
The other group of people are dreamers. They are the risk takes. They set goals high and their mind set is to achieve their dreams. They don’t worry if they are going to pay off the house. They don’t worry if they are going to have enough money to put their children through school or take a vacation. They know in the depth of their hearts that when they achieve their dream all the other things are going to fall into place. They live their passion, they are ALIVE! Every day of their lives is a wonderful adventure. They look at any setback as a lesson, not a failure. They have a vision and they keep going, and through their persistence they arrive at the destination of their dreams.
The first group of people often will say, “But you have to be realistic and practical.” The people from the second group are never realistic or practical. They are dreamers who pursue their dreams. They know that you achieve what you set your mind to do, so they aim high, they have courage to follow through and they live their dreams.

P.S.
Wow! What a powerful statement! You better make sure what you think. Don’t waste your precious mind on bad things. Think about love, money, happiness and joy. Remember only good things…like; money, love…..and more money…abundance of it…and more love…and don’t forget the money…
The Power of Our Mind
February 2, 2008 on 11:52 pm | In Amazing Stories | 1 CommentOur mind is more powerful than we can ever imagine.
Why is it that despite the possible devastating effects of two strokes, a 35 year-old single mother of three, shocked doctors by walking out of the hospital only three days after surviving two strokes? It is all due to the power of the mind.
On January 7, 2008, the lady mentioned above, my client, suffered a stroke while at her office. On the way to the hospital she suffered another stroke in the ambulance. Her speech was impaired. She was paralyzed on the right side of her body. She was placed in the ICU for stroke victims and doctors told her that it will take her a long time before she will walk and have a use of her right hand and she would never recover one hundred percent.
She immediately started practicing the visualization and positive thinking techniques I taught her, she had put to such great use in her business. Only a few hours after she had been admitted she had already regained her speech and she was able to lift her arm and foot about 5 inches off the bed. I told her that the doctors did all they could and the rest belonged to her.
She started setting goals for her recovery. She said that she would love to be able to hold a cup in her right hand. Two days later she held a cup in her right hand and drank from it. She also walked to the bathroom with a help of another person. The doctors could not believe how quickly she was recovering.
On January 10th, just three days after the stroke, she could walk by herself and was released from the hospital with a cane, just in case. Exactly one week after the stroke she could eat with a fork and she can even write. She says that her writing is like a 5 year-old child’s, but this is only a week after the strokes.
Three weeks later she has returned to work full time. She can walk wearing high heels. She can drive her car and even her hand writing has returned to normal. This is unheard of. Her doctor told her that she must have a guardian angel to recover so quickly. What a powerful mind!

P.S.
You have two choices of an attitude, and related actions, when faced with a really big goal:
1. See it impossible to achieve – action - go and buy a big box of tissues, you will need it.
2. Mission Possible - Action - Roar like a wild beast and go for it. That will scare all the obstacles away (they will run away from you, as no one wants to be in the way of a crazy person). Then, smile all the way to the bank.
The choice is yours. If it was me, I prefer wild and rich.
