Passion
December 15, 2007 on 11:45 pm | In Purpose in Life, Goals |So many people go through life never doing what they would really love to do.
One pastor said, “At a funeral the saddest thing is not the death of the body, but the death of the dreams.” It is the car you haven’t bought, the house you never purchased, the vacations you never took. This is the thing you always wanted to do and you have never done it. You just settle for something less. For the job that just paid your bills letting the true dream, the true passion pass you by. Don’t let his ever happen to you!
Do you know how you feel when you find your passion and you follow it? You feel ALIVE! You can’t wait till Monday, you eat, sleep, think and dream your passion. The feeling is so intense, so overwhelming and so fantastic that your life becomes a dream…a dream that you live every single day of your life.
How do I know that? I know it first hand, because I live it. What I do is my passion. I can not wait till the next session, till the next seminar, for the next Thought Mail (motivational message) I send to brighten your day. I eat, sleep, breathe and think my passion. How I feel every day and what I experience in my life is simply MAGICAL.
You too can find your passion, pursue it and live a life you never thought was possible.

The best Thought Mail for this week ( the one that got the most “Thank you” emails) is:
Comfort zone is a comfortable place to be, but very dangerous.
You can never stay still. You either grow and move forward, or you disintegrate.
Your Powerful Inner Self
P.S.
You better make sure you grow as the last option does not sound too attractive.

Amanda - thank you for the wake up call. This is so true, and so sad. It has only been in the last few months that I can honestly say I am driven by my passion, instead of my paycheck. My husband is still struggling to find his real passion too.
I’m not sure why this is such a hard thing for people to define. Maybe it’s because we are afraid to reveal our dreams to others because we fear rejection. Maybe we are afraid to reveal it to ourselves because this means we will need to take real action. Most people are more afraid of acheiving their dreams and that is sad.
I know that I have had very silly thoughts about acheiving wealth. Things like “but if I’m rich I’ll have to pay all those taxes.” Godness, what a great problem to have!
I’d like to recommend a book by T. Harv Ecker called “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”. I think you can get it on audio as well so you can listen in your car or whatever. He talks a lot about the inner game and how we have to overcome our “blueprints”. It’s a very quick read and he is very direct and plain spoken. I liked what he had to say so much that I become affiliated with his company.
