Why Are We Thinking Negative Thoughts?
November 19, 2007 on 3:52 am | In Our Thinking |We have heard so many times in our lives that we should be positive. We also know too well that when we think negative thoughts they don’t make us feel good. Why are we thinking negative thoughts? Why are 97% of people around us negative? Why is news saturated with negative information?
Why do you think it is that way? What are your thoughts about it? Write me your comments, your ideas.
I am looking forward to your thoughts. Amanda Devine

Folks are thinking negative thoughts because they don’t want to move on…I always think Positive thoughts I want to do something with my life, I want to make a difference in my life, to help others as well, to make a difference in their lives, if we all get together and be POSITIVE we can make a difference.

Somewhere along the path to adulthood we are pounded down. Remember how hopeful and positive you were as a little kid? The whole world was open to you and your imagination was limitless.
I think we need to encourage positive thinking and goals at a very young age. If you have any children in your life, you can make a difference to their future. When you do this you also have more hope for yourself.

I have had negative thoughts about myself all of my life. I was born with a Congenital Dislocated Hip. I do not remember too much of when I was a little girl, but I remember vividly when I began jr. high and up into high school. I was never popular because of my left leg being a bit deformed and I had a limp. The poplular kids were the cheerleaders, the aggressive and outgoing kids. I never felt good enough about myself… because I feel society has always catered to the beautiful. sexy women.
When I was 32 years old I had a hip replacement. This did wonders for my leg, I would say it is now 99.9%. I thought that this would totally take away the negative feelings about myself, but…… they are not ALL gone!
The word “normal” always pops up in conversations…. who and what really is “normal”. If we have an illness or small deformity, we are made to feel that we are not “normal”. These are very negative thoughts.
thank you!

I would like to tell you all a bit about myself and my website.
On 26 December 2003 my dad passed away after a 13 year battle with COPD/Emphysema. Since that time I have become very involved in Lung Disease work and Smokefree Living. In June 2006 on Father’s Day, I launched my own website In Memory of My Dad. I am now an Advocate for Lung Disease Awareness & Smokefree Living.
I have designed special COPD Gold Ribon Lapel Pins & Smokefree Living Pins.
You may visit my site at :www.loveyourlungsbreatheforlife.com
And you may find these pins in the “Bookstore”.
Thank you for your time & Remember
