Reply to the comment: It is great to hear from people who want to move ahead, want to achieve something in life and want to help others. It is a great purpose to have. Good for you Sandy! Discussion:  Sometimes we want all the great things in our lives and still we catch ourselves having negative thoughts of fear that it might not happen, that we are aiming too high, having doubts in our abilities. Why does that happens?  We have been programmed that way. Through our lives we have been surrounded by negative people and they are the ones that programmed our thinking, our behavior. It does not mean that those people like your parents and family did not love you. They did, very much. But they were programmed the same way. They wanted the best for you, but they could not give you what they did not have. You and your loved ones and the other people that were and are a part of your life were taught to look at their present situation, look at their past situation and make decisions about their future based on that. For most people that brings lots of negative thoughts, emotions and doubts about themselves.     

Why Are We Thinking Negative Thoughts?

We have heard so many times in our lives that we should be positive. We also know too well that when we think negative thoughts they don’t make us feel good. Why are we thinking negative thoughts? Why are 97% of people around us negative? Why is news saturated with negative information?
